Welcoming Ian Knauer to Our Board of Directors

Bridge the Generations is so thrilled to announce the incredible addition to our Board of Directors, Ian Knauer!

Ian has been performing professionally for over forty years. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, he lives in New York, and has performed in five Broadway shows, one West End show, ten national/international tours and many films, concerts and recordings all over the world. He has served on other Board of Directors, including the Something mAAgic Foundation and Give Kids the World Village.

Ian has been performing professionally for over forty years. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, he lives in New York, and has performed in five Broadway shows, one West End show, ten national/international tours and many films, concerts and recordings all over the world. He has served on other Board of Directors, including the Something mAAgic Foundation and Give Kids the World Village.

For over ten years, Ian has sung with Vocal Ease in NYC which provides live entertainment to seniors living in hospitals, nursing homes and in their residences. To say that Ian is perfect for our Board is an absolute understatement!

On a personal note, I met Ian when my then 13 year old daughter (now 30) had a part in our regional theatre production of Annie Get Your Gun, and Ian was the male lead. The interest he showed in the young people and the inspiration and kindness he provided them, was like no other professional actor I have ever seen!
He has continued to inspire me and so many other people who know him in the way that he lives his life. We are beyond excited to have Ian join the Bridge in our efforts to elevate the lives of seniors and give voice to their stories through music and the arts.
