Join the movement to
change the way society treats seniors
Join our movement dedicated to changing the way society treats seniors! Through intentional programming involving the arts, dedicated outreach and education and global awareness efforts, we believe that seniors can be fully integrated into our communities. And, we believe, that it is only when seniors feel heard, seen, valued and fully integrated that societal wounds can be healed, all generations can benefit and we can collectively reach our fullest and most amazing potential!
Tax Exempt Status
Employer Identification Number: 82-4905497
We applied for and received a determination letter from Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) that our organization Bridge the Generations Inc. (“BTG”) was granted exemption from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3), and public charity status under 509(a)(2) effective March 14, 2018. Due to administrative disruptions during the COVID pandemic and a relocation of BTG’s physical address, there was a lapse in communications with IRS necessary to maintain tax-exempt status in the IRS records. BTG is submitting reinstatement documents to IRS in December 2023 and upon approval from IRS, BTG expects a retroactive reinstatement of tax exempt status as if no lapse had occurred. Please note that IRS online tools regarding an organization’s tax-exempt status may experience delayed updates and may not reflect current changes in exempt status. For inquiries on current tax-exempt status for BTG, please contact Susan Hebbel at [email protected]. Thank you for your interest in our organization and in the people we serve – we are very grateful.
